Cinemas in Ashgabat

Unfortunately, there are no cinemas in this town, but you could always go to DVD Bar (Turkmenbasi 29). The entrance is $1.25 and here they're casting films 3-4 times per evening. It's also the place where you can buy DVDs. I guess you already know that almost all films are dubbed in Russian here :D, but if you go there with a group of friends, you might get them to run the English version of the movie;)..
